Kelsy Bordner

Bears Math Teacher

Kelsy Bordner has been teaching at Roots since 2017. This year she is teaching 3rd and 4th grade math and serving on the Board of Directors.

Kelsy has a BA in Elementary Education as well as an MA in Education, both from Azusa Pacific University. She has taught for 13+ years and also has experience leading and organizing kids’ programs outside of the school environment.

A few words from Kelsy:

“For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. I’ve always loved being with kids and believe there are few things as exciting as watching kids learn something new or understand something for the first time.”
