Mountain Lions Math Teacher

Houston McCuaig has been involved at Roots over the past 6 years as a tutor, classroom volunteer, and project-based learning coach. This year she is thrilled to join the middle school team as the 7th and 8th grade math teacher. 

Houston graduated with a BAE in Secondary (5th-12th gr.) Mathematics Education and a Masters in Curriculum Design and Instruction. She taught in high school and middle school settings throughout Spokane, WA before starting an intervention tutoring business that specializes in helping students who are struggling to learn.
